An invite onboard ‘Omakase’

Our invitation to come and check out the brand new ‘Omakase’ was highly anticpated and did not fail to dissapoint. The stunning ‘Omakase’ a Horizon 68 powercat, showcased the epitome of elegance and comfort on the high seas.

As I stepped onboard, I was greeted by the friendly faces of crew members Wouter and Kelly. The spacious aft deck welcomed us with a beautifully set table scape, perfect for enjoying a refreshing beverage offered by Chef Kelly to cool down under the warm sun.

Captain Wouts, led me through a captivating tour of the yacht. Entering through the double sliding doors, the galley and saloon area stood out with their bright and spacious layout, adorned with windows all around that not only brightened up the space but also offered guests a breathtaking 360 panoramic view of the surrounding waters. The simple yet elegant design, along with contemporary white finishes, exuded a sense of sophistication. Complete with all the modern-day appliances one could need, the yacht felt like a luxurious home away from home on the shimmering sea.

Omakase accommodates up to 6 guests in three meticulously designed staterooms boasting 2 Kings and 1 Twin that can easily be converted into a third King for optimum comfort. The attention to detail is striking, evident in the linens, reading lights, bedside USB and US plugs, and smart TVs found in the master and VIP staterooms. All cabins come with luxury en-suite walk-in showers with separate toilets, basins, cabinets and vanity.

Stepping out of these lavish quarters leads you to the upper deck fly bridge, a sprawling space featuring the captain’s helm station, cozy day beds, Portuguese seating for basking in the sun, and an extra day head for added convenience. And let’s not forget the culinary delights that await, with a BBQ and pizza oven on board to enhance your gastronomic journey.

Finally I was shown through the impressive lineup of water toys onboard, showcasing a world of aquatic adventures. From seabobs to wakeboards, E-Foils to SUP’s, the array of options was exhilarating. Each water toy seemed more enticing than the last, promising endless fun and excitement on the open sea.

After the yacht tour wrapped up, we eagerly made our way back to the galley to indulge in some of Chef Kelly’s mouthwatering sample tastings.
