Nicola at D'Berg was great to work with. Super easy to book our boat and she was very responsive to my many questions regarding logistics, planning etc. I would recommend her highly and we've already shared her name with friends. Should we return to the BVIs she will be our first call. This trip was AMAZING. The Apricity is a relatively smaller boat, although with 6 people we were completely comfortable. The multiple levels gave everyone a spot to be without us feeling like we were on top of eachother. The space was clean, easy to access, no weird ducking to get into the bedrooms (we had that on a prior boat and everyone hit their heads). Bathrooms were totally functional with a proper shower, vanity and toilet. The layout, size and cleanliness were great. The best thing about our boat was the crew. Rodrigo and Alys were so wonderful. Rodrigo was a great captain and also bartender. Super chill, very friendly, happy to chat about where we are, where we're going, recommendations on where to stop, alternative options for islands etc. Also, he steered us to shore at Jost Van Dyke unbelievably well- we were all amazed at how he navigated through the other boats. It was clear in the tight spots and also in sailing that he's a pro. My husband and I have been on 2 prior BVI boat trips and yet Rodrigo took us to islands we've never visited including one that was a group favorite. He was always ready and willing with the dingy transport and a quick pickup upon request. Alys was also delightful, very organized but also chill, friendly and interesting to chat with. We can't stop talking about the food she made- it was all incredibly fresh, delicious and the presentation was a 10/10. I have never in my life taken pictures of food, but we took a picture of every single meal- it was that beautiful (and also delicious). She was always appearing with a gorgeous appetizer or specialty beverage and her desserts were honestly... indescribable. We left the boat on Friday, today is Monday and we are still talking about how great they were and considering whether our next trip should be based on destination/location or on availability of Rodrigo and Alys. We have tons of great pictures of the boat and our trip, but mostly taken by my kids (and I don't have them) so I'm not posting any here but the photos online are very representative of the boat and layout- no wide angle lenses or photoshopping there! My kids have been all over Europe and skiing out west for years and they said this is the best trip we've done. Highly recommend.

D’Berg came highly recommended from our friends and it didn’t disappoint. Nicola was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the process and was sincerely interested in making sure we made the right choice of boat and destinations to meet our expectations.  She was always available to answer any questions day or night. Then came the boating experience… Our captain, Gavin, was phenomenal to say the least. I have heard horror stories from friends who had terrible experiences due to the captain. I would be reluctant to sail again unless we had Gavin to captain our boat. He was extremely knowledgeable and really made sure we relaxed and he took care of everything. Also, if you like to fish and snorkel (day or night) Gavin is your man. If you are a foodie, Gavin is the captain for you. Our only regret is not eating on our boat the entire trip because the food he cooked was far superior to anything on the islands. He always tried to anchor us in the perfect area to ensure we had a good time. As a point of reference we sailed the 63 ft Philotimo and had a total of 6 people (another couple, my wife and I, and our two college aged kids) on board. We had plenty of room and never felt cramped. We did a 5 day charter and wish we did a 6 or 7 day charter. This was definitely one of the best vacations we have ever had. Had an unbelievable 2 night experience with D'Berg and specifically capt Gavin on the Philotimo. Gavin took us out for 2 nights in BVI, island jumping, snorkling, etc. We've been on a few day charters in the BVI, and the captain can easily make or break the experience. Gavin's incredibly personable and an amazing chef. His understanding of the boat and life on the water in general is incredible helpful. This was our first time staying on the water over night, and I'd highly recommend the experience for anyone staying in the BVI, or Caribbean in general. The experience with D'Berg Travel was seamless. They worked around my travel schedule, helped me find the boat and supplied virtually everything you'd need for the experience without question. The Philotime is a sick boat. Very comfortable day and night. Couldn't ask for, and certainly don't need anything above it. I will certainly return!

Our group of 8 just returned home from a 6 night stay on the Mystic. We all love to travel, but agreed it was the most fantastic trip we’ve ever been on! Nicola was so helpful in helping us select the best boat and crew for our group. She was extremely responsive and knowledgeable on all our many questions. The booking process was a breeze! We thank you so much! Rob and B- you absolutely made our trip! They planned the most perfect agenda and accommodated every single request and odd preference. Sailing, swimming/snorkeling, bar hopping- it was perfect! The food, oh my gosh, the food!! B is an absolute magician in that kitchen. We all strongly encouraged her to make a cookbook. Every couple has tried to recreate at least one of the meals B prepared since we’ve been home, but ya just can’t touch the original. Full of variety and the freshest ingredients! We genuinely did not want to leave Rob and B’s side. They are absolutely hilarious and have had the most fun and interesting life. They are full of love and we adore them! Nicola was really wonderful to work with in planning our New Years trip to the BVI's.  She was always quick to respond and provided clarity when needed.  D'Berg's fleet of vessels are new and state of the art.  Our captain and chef duo, Milla and Elif, on Apricity were amazing.  Their professionalism and eagerness to accommodate all of us was paramount.  Both women were very adept in their fields and strived to make our trip exceptional. I worked with Nicola on our USVI & BVI charter (on Reach) that we just returned from. Nicola was very educated on each island and customized our charter to meet the needs of my family of 5 (including three kids ages 11, 8, 6). We had an amazing time and look forward to returning. Our kids were constantly entertained and we were able to explore some of the most beautiful islands and beaches in the Caribbean. The entire process went smoothly and the communication was always very prompt. We look forward to exploring the Southern Caribbean next time!
