My day on the water with ‘Seven’

Are you looking for a unique and luxurious experience in the British Virgin Islands? Look no further than a yacht charter on catamaran ‘Seven’. This 59-foot Voyage catamaran can host up to ten guests in five equal queen sized cabins, offering a perfect setting for a week of sun, sea, and relaxation in the stunning BVI.

Setting Sail from Village Cay

As I stepped onto Seven at Village Cay, I was immediately greeted by the friendly crew and the views of the marina. The catamaran was sleek and spacious, with plenty of room to lounge in the sun or relax in the shade. I knew right away that I was in for a day of pure luxury and adventure. After a quick safety briefing and introduction to the crew, we set sail towards Norman Island. The gentle breeze filled the sails, and the boat glided smoothly through the sparkling waters. As we left the marina behind, I felt a sense of tranquility wash over me – this was going to be a good day.

Anchoring at Kelly’s Cove

Our destination for the day was Kelly’s Cove, a hidden gem just around the corner from the famous Willy T. As Captain James hoisted the sails we were immediately offered the cocktail of the day which was a refreshing ‘Basil Smash’ expertly crafted and served with a smile by the talented stewardess Elisha. Her creativity shines not only in her mixology skills but also in her beautiful table decor, bringing a touch of elegance to every moment on board.

As we dropped anchor in the calm, turquoise waters, I couldn’t help but be in awe of the natural beauty surrounding us. The crew quickly dropped the stern ladders for easy access to the water, and I wasted no time in diving in for a refreshing swim. After working up an appetite, it was time to indulge in the three-course lunch prepared by the talented onboard chef.

A Culinary Delight with Chef Koko

The culinary experience on Seven was splendid, thanks to the talented Chef Koko. With a background working in restaurants in Greece, the French Alps, and the Isles of Sicily, Chef Koko showcased Mediterranean flavors with a chef’s touch. From crispy feta drizzled with a fresh strawberry and raspberry coulis to spinach pancakes with salmon topped with a lemon cream dill sauce, every dish was a delight for the taste buds.

Fun in the Sun with Captain James

After our delightful meal, it was time to enjoy the water toys and take a refreshing swim. Captain James, a certified PADI instructor, raised sailing in the Canadian lakes, ensured that our time onboard was filled with adventure and excitement. Whether trying out the E-Foil or lounging on the bow of the boat, Captain James made sure that every guest had a memorable experience on the water.

As the day drew to a close, we reluctantly pulled up anchor and set sail back towards Village Cay. The sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the water. With the wind in my hair and the sound of the waves lulling me into a state of pure bliss, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the unforgettable day I had experienced aboard Seven.
